At the end of the story George ends up shooting Lennie. One way I can justify his actions is because in the story it was clear that Lennie was going to die and if anyone but George had found Lennie then they would have showed no mercy and it would have been terrifying for Lennie but George showed mercy and made it less scary for Lennie. George was telling him that he wasn't mad and telling him to picture the farm, the thing that made Lennie happiest. He made it painless for him. In my opinion I don't see how we could condemn it because I think that George did the right thing.
I think that author John Steinbeck chose to use animal imagery when describing Lennie because the author had given Lennie characteristics such as being a big brad man who is remarkably strong but doesn't seem to pick up on social ques / isn't very verbal nor does he seem to use his brain much. His characteristics are like those of an animal, perhaps he chose to make this character this way and chose to use this imagery for this character to further his point that Lennie was this big guy that didn't understand things. The author wanted his readers to understand the Lennie wasn't a normal person.
The relationship between Boo Radley and the children changed through out the book. It started out with the children being somewhat afraid of him, to being curios about him. They would run passed his house when ever they would walk to school but as soon as Dill showed up they became curios and wanted to see what he looked like they would also make up games and such. They tormented Boo, but he remained kind to them. He put a blanket round Scout when the fire happened and tried his best to fix Jem's pants. I think though their relationship grew to a kind of mutual respect.
In to kill a mockingbird the character Boo Radly is made out to be some awful, scary, dangerous man. Scout and the others believe the rumors and lies they have been told about him causing them to fear him. The difference between the fear they have of Boo and the fear they have of Bob Ewell is that they don't actually fear Boo. It's more of a fake fear, They fear what they have been told, then being actually terrified as they where when Bob Ewell attacked.
Atticu has a different approach to parenting, I think that Atticu sees his children as his equals. He lets his children call him by his name and not father like most parents. Although he doesn't parent his children much he does care deeply for them. I can see where people would critics his parenting skills because he doesn't make his children call him Atticu which would be weird to people, and he "let's his kids run wild" or simply he let's his kids have there freedom and be there own person.
